Your records stay yours.

AeroOps stores the information you choose to put in: your name, email address and phone number; your flight logs and hour totals; your aircraft details, operating costs and maintenance records; and your medical, currency, certificate and rating entries with their dates.

We do not collect government-issued identification numbers, and we never ask for copies of your medical certificate or logbooks — you only enter the dates and details you want tracked.

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not read your Gmail, contacts, or anything else in your Google account.

Your records are stored in a managed cloud database hosted on infrastructure operated for AeroOps. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and every record is locked to your account at the database level: one pilot cannot read or change another pilot's records, even by altering a web address.

Access to the systems that run AeroOps is limited to AeroOps personnel who need it to keep the service running or to help you with a support request.

Your data is backed up as part of the managed infrastructure. If you delete a record in the app, it is removed from your account; account deletion (available in Settings) removes your account and its records.

The Pilot plan is a subscription billed at $15 a month. Payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Your card number never touches AeroOps servers — you enter it into Stripe's checkout, and we receive only a customer reference and your subscription status.

We store the fact that you have an active plan, its billing period end date, and the Stripe identifiers needed to keep your access in sync. We do not store card numbers, bank details or full billing addresses.

If you cancel, your access runs until the end of the period you already paid for. To change or cancel your plan, email support@aeroop.app and we will take care of it.

AeroOps sends account emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset, sign-in links) and the reminder emails you switch on: expiry reminders before a medical, certificate or aircraft deadline runs out, and a monthly summary of everything on file with its expiration date.

You can turn reminder emails on or off for each record in the app, and control the account-level email preferences in Settings. Essential account emails, like password resets, cannot be switched off.

Emails are sent from noreply@notify.aeroop.app. Reply-to addresses and delivery failures are handled by our email provider on our behalf.

The Help button opens an assistant that can answer questions and draft entries for you. It can read only your own records, and it never changes anything — every draft requires you to press Confirm before it is saved.

Messages you send to the helper are processed by our AI provider to generate the reply. Do not share information in the chat that you would not want processed for that purpose.

The METAR weather feature retrieves public aviation weather reports from the NOAA Aviation Weather Center for the airport you choose. Your chosen airport is stored only in your browser, not on our servers.

You can view, edit and delete your records at any time in the app. You can delete your account in Settings (we ask you to confirm your password, and to type DELETE) — this removes your account and its records. You can also email support@aeroop.app to request a copy or deletion of your data, and we will handle it promptly.

If we change this policy, we will update this page and note the date below. Material changes affecting how your data is used will be communicated before they take effect.
